In September of 2008 I was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 2 after having two heart attacks. I thought it was the end but with family and friends supporting me things started to change.
At first I was depressed everyday and just couldn't seem to see an end. Then Patti my wife had me go to some of the online communities to get help and support. That started off fine but for some reason they didn't seem to help. I couldn't see them doing anything other than helping the network and not others and that was when PAtti said if you can do better than do it.
The challenge was placed in front of me and I took it. She knew what she was doing. I started building communities online and from there things took off, even my depression. I had no time for depression because I was too busy helping others and myself at the same time. Now we have multiple communities and a brand new grass roots project in the beginning stages.
